Hair design one is based on the character 'Esther' from the film 'The Orphan'. In the film the character is trying to make herself look younger, therefore using bows in the hair. I thought that I could take the bows and turn it into a hairstyle instead. The look here consists of a bow on the back of the head with the two front sections plaited and brought back and pinned by the bow. I don't think that this look says Gothic horror. I think there needs to be a certain harshness about the style for Claudia.
